Cold Therapy

Universal to all Cryo/Cuff™ and ArticFlow™ wraps the Cryo/Cuff™ Cooler with Integral Pump holds water and ice needed for six to eight hours of cryotherapy. The durable Cryo/Cuff™ Cooler comes with its own pump in the lid, transformer, a tube assembly, insulation disk and simple-to-follow directions for use.

OrthopaedicsAndTrauma.com recommend this for busy Physiotherapy clinics as the pump halves the time required to achieve the gentle cooling action, requires less hands on time to use and adds a gentle compression so desired when prescribing RICE. The "IC" stands for intermittent compression. Because the pump is integral it is less expensive then buying the Autochill® System (UK Plug) for the Standard Cryo/Cuff™ Cooler.

This is a thermally insulated tube for the Cryo/Cuff™ Cooler above.

The Aircast Autochill® System is designed for use with the Cryo/Cuff™ Cooler and any of the Aircast® Cryo/Cuffs™ to automatically cycle the cold water between the cooler and cuff eliminating the need for manual recycling. During Autochill® operation, the electronic pump compresses the air in the cooler to force chilled water into the cuff to maintain a constant cycling of the water through the Cryo/Cuff™.

There are 2 lengths of tube available for the Aircast Autochill® System the 50cm and the 1.5m tubes. The pump in the image does not come with the replacement tubes.

The Iceman® cold therapy unit is a motorised device integrating a patented semiclosed loop system. It was designed for the The ArcticFlow™ range of cold therapy wraps. However, it will work with the Cryo/Cuff™ range.

The Iceman® holds water and ice needed for six to eight hours of cryotherapy. The Iceman® maintains a constant and accurate temperature, preventing freezing inlet temperatures from occuring. It provides up to seven hours of continous cold therapy for a variety of conditions.

The ArcticFlow™ Foot/Ankle Wrap provides a combination of ice and compression, which will dramitically reduce pain and swelling around the foot and ankle to help facilitate rehabilitation. Once the wrap is filled, the patient can disconnect from the Cryo/Cuff™ Cooler unit to be free to move about. The wrap will stay cold for about 30 minutes; then the patient just reconnects filtering cold water back into the wrap for three hours of continuous treatment.
