Introduction
The Aligua™ Elastic Hinged Knee Support is a soft and comfortable knee support with built in hinges for bracing grade 1 medial and lateral ligament injuries with minor swelling (after diagnosis of the cause of the swelling e.g. ligament sprains not lasting more than 6 weeks).
The Aligua™ Elastic Hinged Knee Support also supplies the proprioceptive feedback often missing even after minor injury. It is not as suitable as the Donjoy Ligament Knee Braces are for post-operative ligament reconstruction. It is Latex free, being constructed of Polyamide, Cotton and Lycra. It has been anatomically knitted with a multidirectional elastic fabric, with removable velcro straps above and below to adjust for a comfortable fit. This offers support and compression during the rehabilitation from minor acute and chronic knee injury.

Information on Ordering
Choose the right size by marking the mid point of the patella with the patient standing in the schuss position. Measure the circumference of the thigh at 15cm above this point.
