This Aircast ankle brace, the Air-Stirrup® Universe™ Ankle Brace provides support while allowing for protected movement to promote healing. It is a good option for sports injury clinics as one size fits all and there is the benefit of the lined version for warmer climates where socks are not worn.

Since 1978, the Aircast Air-Stirrup® Ankle Brace has been the "standard of care" for the functional management of acute ankle injuries and has been cited in over 100 medical journals for its superior performance in helping to heal ankle injuries. Convenient cold compression for ankles

Foot support and ankle stabilisation are provided by the AIRCAST® AIRLIFT™ PTTD BRACE integrated aircell and semi-rigid shells. The aircell, located under the foot arch, is adjustable to each patient's custom requirement using the Hand Bulb (included with the brace). When inflated, the aircell can accommodate variances in arch shapes and heights and comfortably lifts the foot arch to achieve a more natural foot position. For ease-of-use, aircell inflation can be adjusted while wearing different shoes to accomodate the differing levels of arch support that come with different makes.
